Memory and cognitive effects of ECT: informing and assessing patients

His interest in psychiatric research, in particular research into the use of electroconvulsive therapy, has brought him into contact with others with similar interests across the globe for the past 20 years. Robin Pryor is a psychologist who has held a private practice in New York, NY, for 30 years. His particular interests are the history of psychiatry and first-person narratives of mental health service users. He writes and lectures on these topics.
